Hot Sauce

600ml (1pint) brown vinegar
28g (1oz) pickling spices
45ml (3tablespoons) brown sugar
30ml (2tablespoons) plain flour
30ml (2tablespoons) treacle
5ml (1teaspoon) salt
15ml (1tablespoon) dry

Mix all together and boil 20 - 25 mins, then strain through a sieve. When cold, bottle and screw down with vinegar proof tops.

Store in dry place.
